The Rising Melody Open Mic for Youth 

The Rising Melody Open Mic for Youth is a stage for Hawaii's youth to perform their music for an audience of friends and peers. It is a great opportunity for young musicians to meet other young musicians, hear different styles of music, collaborate and experiment with their performance in a comfortable, drug and alcohol free environment. Performers vary in age and musical background and skill level, but they all share the common desire to improve their musical ability, gain comfort and confidence in their performance and build relationships.  The energy of this open mic is always very positive, with a lot of support and comradeship amongst the audience and performers.
